These range from simple building blocks such as images and text to extensive data sets such as exports of your store’s products, price lists, or product descriptions.

Linking Data Using Logic

Data and logic are linked in the Editor — the central tool for building your configurator. Here, you design the user interface and define the complete product logic. You establish access to your product data by connecting the configurator to one or more asset bundles.

Because logic and product data remain separate, the same asset bundle can be used in multiple configurators — without having to maintain the same data twice.

You don’t have to update your data manually: With “Workflows,” Combeenation offers a powerful feature for recurring updates. Its major advantage lies in scheduling based on a CRON schedule — you set up time-triggered tasks that run automatically at specified intervals.

Each workflow then updates the corresponding data source in your asset bundle.
