1. Configurator

  • Every project? A one-of-a-kind design - combine containers, install windows, place doors, customize details - and in the end, you get a complete data sheet for sales.
  • Self-service configuration – prospective customers plan their own projects in 3D – without sketches from the sales team, without coordinating dimensions, and without needing to ask questions in advance. The sales team steps in when things get concrete.
  • Easy measurement capture - doors, windows, and other elements can be freely placed on the container. All distances – to edges, corners, and between elements – are visible at a glance. No manual measurements, no transcription errors.
  • Only technically feasible configurations – every result from the configurator complies with regulations, is manufacturable, and can be transferred directly into the sales process.

HIGHLIGHTS

Collision detection

Containers cannot overlap or be nested within one another - invalid configurations are technically impossible.

Snapping

The containers snap together seamlessly - no need for millimeter-precise alignment.

Guiding

When moving the container, it aligns with the existing elements. This ensures intuitive operation and only valid layouts.

Drag & Drop

Elements are placed using drag-and-drop, automatically maintain minimum spacing, and snap into valid positions - if there’s no space, nothing can be placed there.

Dynamic 3D models

Instead of creating a separate 3D model for each length, the existing model is dynamically adjusted in height, width, and depth.

Automatic Bill of Materials

Once the configuration is complete, the system automatically generates the full bill of materials.

Two separate ranking systems

The placement logic operates on two levels - between containers and within each container. This ensures that only valid configurations are created on both levels.

3D MODELS PROVIDED BY THE CUSTOMER

3D models may or may not come from us. In this case, the model was provided by the customer; we only made minor adjustments - through close and seamless collaboration.

Self-maintenance via upload

The data is stored in Excel, which the customer maintains and updates via upload - providing full control over the data without relying on external support.

2. Price Management

  • Error-free calculations – Accurate pricing guaranteed with no calculation errors – even with square-meter pricing and mixed prices.
  • Real-time pricing – Every change to the configuration is immediately reflected in the price – transparently and without delay.

Mixed costing

Unit prices and prices per square meter can be combined in any way - some components are priced per unit, while others are priced based on area.

Price per square meter

Area-based components are automatically calculated using the stored price per square meter.

Role-based price display

Prices are displayed only to sales representatives. Users in other roles see the configuration without price information - this keeps the pricing internal and is only disclosed in a formal quote.

3. Bid Management

  • Time savings – inquiries can be submitted with just a few clicks – complete with valid, comprehensive configuration data that can be processed directly by the sales team.

Can be expanded with a quote module

The CPQ solution has a modular design - the quoting module is not currently included at the customer’s request, but can be added at any time to generate quotes directly from the system.
