Deep-seated dependencies and underlying logic

Which light fixtures fit into a profile, how many are allowed, where they should be positioned, and how far the ceiling suspension needs to be recessed for a given profile - these are just a few examples of the countless rules and logic that the configurator has fully mastered.

Positioning logic

Here’s an example: A customer wants a 6-meter-long profile - the configurator automatically recognizes that the maximum length is 3 meters, generates two profiles from it, and places the ceiling hangers in the appropriate grid - with indentation based on the profile size.

Combinational logic

Not all lighting inserts are compatible with every profile. The configurator automatically determines which inserts are compatible, what sizes are available, and how many units are permitted.

Lighting files at the touch of a button

Until now, lighting files were created manually from blank templates - with each value entered by hand. Today, all relevant files are generated directly from the configuration and are immediately available for download.

Documents at the touch of a button

Data sheet, installation folder, assembly instructions, GAEB file – all project-related documents are generated directly from the configuration and are immediately available for download.

2D DWG & 3D files at the click of a button

Precise 2D DWG drawings and 3D models are exported directly from the configuration - ideal for architects and lighting designers. No manual rework, no separate requests.

Self-maintenance via upload

The data is stored in Excel spreadsheets that the customer maintains and updates via upload - providing full control over the data without relying on external support.

Dynamically modify a 3D model

Instead of uploading a new 3D model for each length, the existing model is dynamically scaled. New profile lengths or light inserts can be easily added - without having to modify the 3D model.

  • Role-based pricing at the click of a button – whether it’s a sales representative or an anonymous user - everyone sees only the prices they’re authorized to view.
  • Error-free calculations – Guaranteed accurate pricing with no calculation errors – even with per-meter pricing and mixed prices.
