With Asset Manager, Combeenation provides a tool that is precisely tailored to work seamlessly with your PIM: This is where all the product information and media resources your configurator needs come together.
Within the Asset Manager, you organize your data into so-called asset bundles – freely configurable packages that bundle everything that belongs together in terms of content. The content ranges from simple building blocks such as images or text fragments to complex data sets: product catalogs, price lists, or complete descriptions from your shop system.
While the Asset Manager organizes your data, the Editor links your data to the configuration logic. It serves as the central starting point for building your configurator: Here, you create the user interface, structure the data, and interpret the product logic. To access your product data, connect the configurator to one or more asset bundles.
The big advantage: You can use the same asset bundle in multiple configurators without having to maintain the data multiple times.
PIM systems rely on up-to-date data - and your configurator needs to keep up. With “Workflows,” you can schedule automated synchronizations using CRON-based schedules.
Whether hourly, daily, or event-driven via webhook: your asset bundles stay in sync with the source system - no matter which PIM you use. This way, you don’t have to worry about manual updates, and your configurator always displays the latest product information.
